From the day she began her legendary chimpanzee research in Gombe, Jane Goodall took an unorthodox approach to her subjects. As a UN Messenger of Peace and a dedicated activist, Jane spent her later years campaigning for endangered species and environmental protection.

We challenge you to choose an aspect of Jane’s complex life as the theme for your original work.  

The top and binding of Challenge quilts are limited to these 8 Cherrywood colors, plus Cherrywood Onyx (sold separately here)

Your finished piece must measure 20" x 20".

Please see Cherrywood's website for care instructions.  Prewashing the fabric, and washing the finished quilt in Synthrapol are recommended.  Synthrapol is available to purchase at Cary Quilting Company, but can not be shipped.
