When I was 10 years old, a neighbor down the street offered sewing classes in her basement. Since we
did not have AC, it seemed like a great way to avoid the summer heat. I fell in love with creating with
fabric.
I have tried all forms of sewing from clothes to drapes to quilts. Creating quilts gave me the opportunity
to not just follow a pattern but create my own. I have been creating quilts (both wall hangings and bed
quilts) for 50+ years. My latest passion is creating landscape quilts.
