2025 Challenging Fabric Challenge

It's time for our 9th annual Challenging Fabric Challenge!

Who: You! Make it a bee challenge by inviting your quilting friends!

What: Your challenge is to create a quilt with the fabric you purchase, sight unseen, in our Challenging Fabric Challenge.

When: The challenge begins August 1st. You have until October 31st to submit photos of your challenge quilt online. Preorders for fabric begin on 7/17/25.

What: Create a quilt using at least 1/4 of your challenge fabric (you'll be getting one yard for each order placed). Submit photos of your quilt into a Viewer's Choice Voting competition online. The winners receive $100, $50, and $25 gift cards to Cary Quilting Company!

Why: It's great fun and good for your creative mind to challenge yourself! You may be surprised at what you come up with!

If you play along, please don’t share any photos or let your friends see your challenging fabric until all of the bags have been sold – it’s only fair to those who might become your competitors! If you need to shop for fabrics to make your challenging fabric sing, just peek it out of your bag quietly.
