Summer Camp 2023 with Kim Z.

Join Summer Camp 2023 with Kim!  We will meet 2 times. 

Kim will be sharing how to make a V-Block with Deb Tucker’s V-Block ruler during the June session.  The July session will focus on how to include this block in the quilt of your choice.

Kim's sample is a variation of the pattern “Gives Me Butterflies” by Raija Salomaa of Quilter’s Treasure Chest.  The Supply list will include fabric requirements for her smaller quilt (53 X 65), Raija’s quilt (Twin 72 X 92) and a larger Queen sized version (90 x 100) of this quilt.

You could make a simple star quilt with the V-Block unit in any size.  The Supply list will include how much fabric is needed to make a single star. Kim will include a few different sizes of blocks for you to pick from

Required Supplies for Camp:  Deb Tucker/Studio 180 V-Block ruler AND Gives Me Butterflies pattern if you plan on making one of the 3 Butterfly versions.

How Camp Works

Welcome to one of Kim’s Camps.  In most of Kim’s Camp, she takes a pattern, breaks it up into workable sections.  In each of the first few sessions she will demo a technique and give you some portion of the quilt to complete before the next month’s session.

Some Camps are ruler camps, where Kim demonstrates how to use Deb Tucker/Studio 180 rulers and how to use them in patterns that aren’t necessarily written using them.

A coupon good for 10% off the one-time purchase of supplies for camp will be included in your supply list.  Supply lists will be emailed to you when you register.
