Improv Quilt Class with Emma Jane

Skill level: All sewing and quilting skill levels welcomed. Must be familiar with your sewing machine.

This class is for those who are improvisationally curious. Improv is a great way to break free of traditional piecing rules and challenge your creativity. Bring your scraps and learn improv with a different focus each session, and homework challenges in between classes. Skills taught will include: color & fabric combinations, straight lines, triangles, curves, and putting together segments. Create a small sample for each skill, or build up to a larger final project. You will finish this class with a toolbox full of techniques to create more expressive, spontaneous work in the future.
