Skill level: This is a Learn-to-Sew class, so no prior knowledge of sewing or machine use is required!  Any age will do... Jeana Grace is excited to teach children, teens, and adults the basics of how to sew!

Get comfortable and confident with using your personal sewing machine AND make a tote bag, in just 3 hours! In this beginner sewing class,
Jeana Grace will teach the following plus more:
● Understanding/ using your machine
● Winding bobbin + Threading needle
● Sew basic stitches
● Change stitch length and needle position
● Understanding of tension and other sewing machine functions
● Anatomy of fabric
Each topic will be verbally and visually demonstrated to ensure everyone is comfortable. Then, Jeana Grace will transition the class into their first
sewing project: a tote bag! Mastering the basics by seeing, hearing, and practicing what you learned will give you the confidence to take on your
next project, whether that be a dress or a quilt

 

Before the class begins, you will be emailed a questionnaire to inform Jeana about your sewing machine and previous experience.
