Learn the skills needed to complete a 4 Block Sampler Quilt top, including rotary cutting and piecing techniques, piecing the blocks, adding sashing and borders, and basting your quilt in preparation for quilting. Your teacher will also demonstrate basic machine quilting techniques using a walking foot and straight or wavy lines.
Some homework between class sessions will be needed.
This class is a multi-session class and valuable information is imparted in each session.
Make-up classes are not offered unless the entire class must be cancelled due to weather or other circumstances. In the case of a missed session, the instructor may be able to share the lesson plan and homework with the student, but she will not be expected to hold a make-up session, nor change the plans of the next class so that students can catch up. No refunds will be offered for missed sessions.
You will be doing work in class and at home and because every machine is slightly different, it is recommended that you provide your own machine for class and be familiar working with it.
If you still need to borrow a machine for this class, there are some available on a first come, first served basis.
See this link to see if a machine is available for this class. When you get to the page, be sure to click the "Add to Cart" button.
Simply add the class to your cart, check out and we'll send your class confirmation and supply list!
As a courtesy to registered students the instructor will wait until 3 days prior to class before cancelling, if the minimum enrollment is not met. Therefore, we encourage you to register early. Once minimum enrollment is met you can register until the day before class.
If the class shows "Temporarily Out of Stock" and you'd like to be put on the waiting list, please call us at (919) 238-9739.
If you need to cancel your class registration, we require a one week notice for a refund or transfer to another class session.
