The True Color Tool is almost magical in its ability to isolate colors in your photo, which will help you when you’re searching for a fabric match. Julianne Walther invented this plastic tool after creating a similar tool with a square cut out of a paper index card. She kept misplacing her index card under piles of fabric and patterns. She also realized that it would be helpful to have square holes available in different sizes. This 3-D printed tool is now available for portrait quilters everywhere! 

Note: the 3-D rendering photos look gray, but the tool is white plastic.
