Scrap-aholics Anonymous 2-Scrappy Bargello Quilt with Marnet

Students in Marnet's classes may choose to wear masks, but are not required to do so if fully vaccinated.

Skill Level: Adventurous beginner through master quilter!!.  If you have scraps, you have made enough quilts to qualify for this class!! This class assumes a basic knowledge of sewing machine and how to sew a straight line/quarter inch seam. 

Maximum Enrollment: 8

This is a one-session class, and the second in a series of classes entitled Scrapaholics Anonymous.  In this class you will sharpen your cutting, chain piecing and “slicing and dicing” skills! AND … explore a new way to use up your scraps, specifically your 2.5 inch (or 2, 3, 3.5 inch) strips to make a colorful, happy and scrappy Bargello quilt.  

If you are overwhelmed by your scraps, need to get your quilting drive back, or just need a quick and happy quilt to quickly eliminate much of your scraps, this is a class sure to boost your spirits!  Pick the size strip you need to use up, (you can only put one size strip in the quilt), check out the supply list for the minimum length of each strip, and get ready to bust your stash.  Don’t forget to rummage through the scrap basket at the shop – Marnet has found some wonderful scraps there to add to her quilts!! 

Marnet encourages all students to come 15 minutes before class to set up and get organized!
