This is a 2-session class, 3 hours each, and you will be learning how to make a Double Wedding Ring Quilt. Techniques include paper piecing and curve piecing.
This class is a great opportunity to learn 2 techniques in an easy to complete project. You can use four 9” blocks to make a small wall quilt or a pillow.
- The first class will include paper piecing the arcs and sewing the oval in between them.
- The second class will include adding the outer curve, trimming the blocks, and matching up those seams while sewing the blocks together.
If you have some experience with these techniques, you can try one of the bigger projects right away. If not, once you’ve mastered these techniques, you can move on to one of the bigger projects after this class.
Kim has included 2 different sizes for you to choose from. The 6” blocks make up a cute small quilt. The 9” inch blocks can be used in a pillow or a quilt.
