Learn the exciting art of bead embroidery in this workshop. Using beads, needle and thread on a felt foundation you can create a variety of jewelry, embellish a quilt, jacket or pillow. Beads, all shapes, sizes, colors, buttons, sequins and found objects will make your designs unique.

In this class, you will make a pin using a focal bead surrounded by smaller beads. You will learn how to secure the beads with a simple backstitch that keeps the beads flat as you go around curves in a design.

All materials will be supplied. If you have any special beads you’d like to use please bring them.
