Make this adorable and functional beach tote (approx. 18X20 inches) using a plastic mesh “pet screen” which allows the sand to fall out of the bottom. It’s great for the beach as well as shopping or as a general use bag.  This project is perfect for beginners. It will leave you wanting to make one for all of your friends for your next beach vacation!

You will learn to make an enclosed seam called a “French seam” which is a great technique that provides a clean, finished, professional look to the inside of any project, preventing raveling of fabric or concealing pinked edges
