How It Works

Welcome back to our 6th Mystery Quilt program!  Do you like a mystery; are you willing to let someone else take the wheel and not know where you are going?  Wherever you end up, this will be a fun journey! We will have 12 meetings from January 2020 to January 2021 and you will have a completed quilt top by the end of the program.  You will be choosing the fabrics you love to work with, and instructions and help are available at every step along the way.

The Quilt

What clues can we give you?  Quilters who have a sound basis in machine raw edge appliqué will find this mystery program a fun challenge.  You pick your own fabrics, as many or as few as you would like, plus a background setting fabric and some border prints too.  Each month you will receive instructions for making between 3-4 blocks. You won’t find out what your finished quilt will look like until the second last meeting.  Our final meeting will be show ‘n’ tell for our finished quilt tops! Group members will receive a 10% discount at Cary Quilting Company to purchase their mystery quilt fabrics.

You do not have to attend meetings to complete this project. You can sign up on-line, buy fabrics on-line from Cary Quilting using your 10% discount (or shop wherever you choose), and complete your work at home.

Group members will join our exclusive (and secret) 2019 Mystery Quilt Facebook page, where you will find new instructions, dates for meetings, and where you can post photos, and discuss your work with other group members. If you have elected not to attend meetings, you can upload photos of your completed blocks, so that the whole group can follow your progress and cheer you on.  You do not have to attend meetings to complete this project.
