This collection is inspired by Maria Mitchell, born in Nantucket in 1818, who discovered a comet when she was only 15, and went on to become an astronomer, suffragette, anti-slavery activist, and a professor at Vassar.  Betsy Chutcian created florals and prints in the style of 1840-1860, in turkey red, indigo, and chocolate brown to complete the collection.  By Moda.  100% cotton, 42-44" wide.
